Their choice of a listing agent may be more important than ever.
When they read about how fast homes are selling and about the bidding wars going on, many of those potential clients might think that all they have to do for a quick sale is put a sign in the yard.
They don’t realize the work you put into getting that listing in front of the right buyers and buyers’ agents. They don’t realize what a huge different effective Internet advertising makes, or why the photos and narrative must be “just right” in order to attract good buyers.
Of course they also don’t know that finding a buyer and coming to agreement is simply the first and easiest steps. They don’t know how much work it often takes to get from there to the closing table. How would they know, since good agents make their jobs look so easy?
