Today, with agents in cities across the U.S. competing for a shrinking supply of listings, your listing presentation is more important than ever.
When the homeowner has visited websites, read agent bios, gotten recommendations, and finally narrowed the field down to you and perhaps 2 or 3 other agents, your in-person presentation will likely be the deciding factor.
Will you try to wing it – and simply answer their questions? Or will you present them with proof that you’ll do an outstanding job of marketing their homes – and then stand by them through the process.
A couple of years ago I came across an Active Rain post by Alyson Engelbrecht that offered several innovative ideas for creating listing presentations that will make you stand out from the crowd. And then… agents from across the country chimed in with even MORE good ideas.
Things haven’t changed since then… inventory is still tight and unless you came to those sellers as a referral, you may well be competing with other agents for that oh-so-valuable listing.
So if you aren’t sure what to include in your own listing presentation, read this post – and then read the comments from other agents.
You’re bound to come away with new ideas – ideas that WILL make you stand out from your competitors.
