Plenty.
When I started this post it was about how blogging can help a real estate business. But really, blogging can help every small business person.
And for those on a marketing budget, it’s not only valuable, it’s darned near free.
Look at all it can do:
When you offer good information and advice, it keeps visitors coming back to your site. After a while, they’ll see YOU as the expert. They’ll also see you as someone who cares enough about their well-being to give advice freely.
When you add personal insight, it allows prospects to become acquainted with you.
When you blog about neighborhoods and businesses in your community, it brings new visitors to your site – while it positions you as the person who knows the community well.
When you blog about events and celebrations in your community, it brings more new visitors to your site – at the same time that it positions YOU as the person who is active and involved.
How does that happen? Most community events don’t get much web coverage. So when you blog about them, and remember to name the events in the blog copy, people searching for those events will find you. They’ll appreciate the information, and they’ll see you as a community expert.
This one is just for real estate: When you blog about your listings, it gives them more exposure and pleases your listing clients.
And finally, it adds keyword-rich pages to your site, enhancing your SEO.
If you don’t enjoy writing, I can help – either by providing you with custom copy, or through my new real estate blog post service.
The first month’s trial subscription is only $5 – so come on over and see what it’s all about.
